James Bailey, DASc, AD, LAc, MPH, E-RYT500 is a third-generation health care practitioner, Ayurvedic Doctor, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and Ayurveda and Yoga educator who has been practicing the wellness arts for 30 years. He is the founder of Sevanti Institute, offering Ayurveda wellness education and professional training programs including its signature Ayurveda Wellness Counselor Program. He is available for Ayurveda Wellness Consultations through the Sevanti Wellness Center. Clinically, and in his teachings, James inspires an awakening to authenticity as the highest expression of faith in oneself on the path of all healing. His teachings are eclectic and entertainingly provocative. He is sought out by yoga schools for his vast knowledge in traditional eastern teachings and modalities and the ability to bridge them to modern-day living. His professional training includes 5 years of clinical studies in Oriental Medicine and training in Ayurveda under such luminary teachers as Dr. Vaijayanti Apte, Dr. Subash Ranade, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, Dr. Avinash Lele, Dr. Vasant Lad, and many Ayurvedic doctors and therapists in Kerala, South India where he spends time teaching and studying while on retreat. He is the founder of Sevanti Adventures which offers an annual tour to sacred India each March.

Dr. Manisha Kshirsagar graduated from Pune University, India with a Bachelors degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. She is also trained at the Indian College of Naturopathy and qualified as a Yoga Instructor from the renowned Kaivalyadham University in India. Dr. Manisha has been teaching Ayurveda, yoga for more than 10 years. She specializes in women and infant health, skin care and natural beauty treatments. She offers regular workshops on Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking, panchakarma and herbology.

Dr. Manas Kshirsagar is a NAMA Board Certified Ayurvedic Doctor. He comes from a Rig Vedic Brahmin tradition with an extensive Ayurvedic background. He graduated from Aloha Ayurveda Academy and completed his MS in Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine from Maharishi University of Management. He is an acclaimed wellness consultant, who has worked as an Ayurvedic Consultant at MAPI and the prestigious Raj Panchakarma center in Fairfield, IA. Manas has extensive training in many different healing modalities including certifications in Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki.
He is a Health Educator, who is passionate about health and fitness. He has worked with clients of all age groups and specializes in Lifestyle Medicine. For the last 5 years, Manas has traveled the nation setting up protocols for Ayurvedic medicine in yoga studios, hospitals, and integrative wellness clinics. He provides Ayurvedic consultations and teaches both health professionals as well as the community how to care for their health and well-being. Providing a holistic approach to medicine, his philosophy of healing revolves around Diet, Yoga, Meditation, Detoxification, Nutrition & effective Stress Management. Arun Deva, DASc, AYT, E-RYT(500), C-IAYT, YTRx practices yoga and Ayurveda. Quietly. Mostly in Los Angeles. But he also travels to teach. And this could perhaps be not so quiet. In fact, he tends to get a little passionate about his favorite subject: the surcease of suffering. He likes to wander about looking for the Buddha in every face he sees. And this sometimes, as you may imagine, is quite challenging. Arun is a graduate of the American Institute Of Ayurveda; Ayurvedic Practitioner (NAMA), Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist (NAMA), Yoga Therapist (IAYT) and a Vinyasa Krama certified yoga teacher (E-RYT500). The founder of Arunachala Yoga & Ayurveda, Arun has the pleasure of serving both the National & State Ayurvedic Associations: NAMA & CAAM for over 15 years. Currently he heads NAMA’s Committee for Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. Arun teaches internationally, lectures at Conferences, writes articles for different publications, has been featured on both radio and television and has a clinic for consultations and various treatments including pancakarma and yoga therapy in Los Angeles/West Hollywood. He also teaches the Ayurveda and Yoga modules for many Teacher Training Programs around the world and is Director of Ayurveda at LMU’s YTRX Program. Arun has often presented at both the NAMA and SYTAR Conferences. Born in India, where he began his studies as a child, Arun has made his home in Los Angeles since 1977.

Laura Plumb is the author of the the best-selling book Ayurveda Cooking For Beginners, the writer and host of a 53-part tv series called VedaCleanse and of a 12-part series called Divine Yoga. As a graduate of the Kerala Ayurveda Academy and the American Institute of Vedic Studies, she is a leading educator on the power of the Vedic sciences to promote sacred, sumptuous living.

Formerly the General Manager of The Discovery Channel Europe, Laura is the founder/director of VedaWise, offering clinical services in natural medicine for whole person wellness and trainings in the Vedic sciences. She offers classes and consultations in Ayurveda, Jyotish, Yoga Therapy, Whole Food Cooking and Nutrition, serves as a contributing Ayurvedic educator at the UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine and The Sevanti Institute, teaches at wellness centers and festivals internationally, is a monthly contributor to Spirituality & Health, as well as an Ambassador for Banyan Botanicals.

David Crow

David Crow, L.Ac., graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984; he is a California state licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has been a clinician, consultant, researcher, and educator for over 30 years. As an educator, he has taught extensively for over two decades in the US and Canada, and online internationally; over 5,000 students have attended his online courses in the last three years. He has traveled extensively to study traditional medicinal systems, including spending several years in Nepal and India studying Tibetan and Ayurvedic medicine. He is the author of four books, including In Search of the Medicine Buddha, about his time with traditional doctors in the Himalayas, and Sacred Smoke, about his ethnobotanical research in Ecuador. Along with his wife Sara Crow, he is the founder and owner of Floracopeia, Inc. a company devoted to supporting sustainable ecological agriculture through the production of essential oils.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, Yogaraj, A.D., D.N.-C., R.H., is one of the foremost natural healing experts in the field today. He is one of a very few clinicians with over 47 years of experience with complementary medicine. Khalsa is President Emeritus and Global Ambassador of the American Herbalists Guild, and director emeritus of the National Ayurvedic Medicine Association. Author or editor of 30 books, Khalsa teaches herbalism at three medical schools and is the first American to be board certified in herbalism and Ayurveda.

Khalsa is an Ayurvedic Doctor, state certified dietitian and author of over 3,000 published health articles. Khalsa’s approach to complementary medicine is very eclectic. He was personally trained by Yogi Bhajan for 32 years, supporting his main focus in Ayurvedic medicine. He also teaches about Chinese and North American natural medicine.

He was the principal medical formulator for Yogi Tea, a medicinal tea company, and is the curriculum director and principal instructor for several Professional Herbalist, Nutritional Therapy and Ayurveda training programs. He lives in the Northwest with his family.

Dr. Margo Bachman, DACM, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist, Ayurvedic practitioner and clinical director Wild Rose Medicine Acupuncture and Ayurveda. She received her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Margo has been passionate about natural medicine and healing for over twenty-five years. She is a woman’s health and fertility expert that has studied extensively and practiced acupuncture, Ayurveda, herbal medicine and yoga therapy for decades and is dedicated to improving the health of others. After a successful career as an engineer, executive and entrepreneur, Vish Chatterji is honoring his soul purpose as an East-meets-West executive coach and Vedic teacher. He helps leaders and business owners find light in their work through the wisdom of his ancestors, leveraging the traditions of Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Vedic Philosophy and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology). His coaching practice, Head & Heart Insights serves clients across the globe, and he serves as a Faculty Coach and Educator for the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute at UC Berkeley.

Vish holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and an executive coaching certificate from UC Berkeley. Vish has studied in traditional Himalayan ashrams and at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing. He learned the techniques of ancient Vedic rituals through the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh under the guidance of Yogrishi Vishvketu. Simon Chokoisky worked five years at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, where he taught Medical Jyotisha and Sanskrit. He is the author of The 5 Dharma Types: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living, along with Sex, Love & Dharma, and Gambler's Dharma. His forthcoming book, Spiritual Dharma: How to Find Enlightenment in the New Millennium comes out fall 2018.
