Practice With Us

Sevanti Wellness Center (SWC) is a growing online Vedic and Vidya-based community practice looking for qualified Ayurveda Counselors, Yoga Therapists, and Vedic Astrologers (Jyotishis) to join our team. SWC provides the community and the technical platform so you can practice with your peers from home. Set your schedule and rates, connect with your people, and enjoy the SWC community as we practice together. Why practice alone when SWC can offer you professional, social, academic, and clinical community support? Grow with us as you practice.

Practice in Community

90% of wellness school graduates practice alone, lacking community and support. The experience can be alienating and limiting to your career. The vast majority stop practicing after a couple of years. Joining the SWC team will provide the missing professional, social, academic, and clinical support.

Specialty Practice Groups

SWC offers three practice departments: Ayurveda Counseling, Yoga Therapy, and Vedic Astrology. Each department offers a practice community that supports your growth and career. Each offers bi-weekly clinical gatherings to review cases and share practice methods and resources.

Virtual Support Platforms

SWC provides a private Zoom and online booking account. Client payments are deposited directly to your bank account. You can set your own hours and rates. Join us for bi-weekly group Zoom meetings and on our Slack team channel for group and one-on-one communications.

Healers Grow Best in Community

Only a small percentage of Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, and Vedic Astrology students go on to practice their trade professionally long-term. After years of personal study, hard work, and costly investment, graduates of these wellness traditions need the support of their professional community more than ever. Schools have little to offer past graduation. You are on your own.

The SWC Team Practice serves as a lifeline to those who work in solo practices. Your practice reflects you and the skills you bring to your clients. Are you struggling to maintain the inspiration you had in your study courses? Do you feel like you’re practicing in the dark? Are your skills being challenged and inspired to grow, or are they fading? How confident are you in your assessments? When you have questions about a client case, do you have people to lean into?

At Sevanti Wellness Center, we believe that the wisdom of our practice should be shared and not lost. We have each other to lean on, run clinical questions by, and learn from. SWC aims to provide the social glue, clinical setting, technical tools, and practice competency needed for practitioners like you to grow in your practice. As humans, we can only grow together.

Community Benefits

  • Bi-weekly Clinical Gatherings – Vitalize your practice. Learn from and share with your peers. Each clinical discipline – Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, and Vedic Astrology- will hold its own virtual meetings every two weeks. Use this time to exchange cases and clinical questions, present findings from your work, share new practice methods and share resources relevant to each discipline’s unique practice system.
  • Monthly Informal Gatherings – Join these casual virtual meetings, open to practice members across all three departments, to meet and greet, learn from each other’s practices and specialties, and deepen social connections. These meetings are the perfect space to ask questions and workshop new ideas. Whether concerning your practice, managing clients, workshops, or anything else relevant to the Sevanti sangha, these monthly virtual calls are the backbone of our community of practitioners.
  • Community and Individual Support – All directors and member practitioners can support one another. Gain access to our wide range of clinical and academic professionals who can provide advice and support on a limitless range of issues impacting your practice.
    • Practitioners within each practice department (Ayurveda Counselor, Yoga Therapy, Vedic Astrology) form a community support network.
    • Opportunities to grow your practice by offering group workshops showcasing your expertise
    • A community of like-minded practitioners to elevate and grow your practice and revenue
    • Clinical support with client case management
    • Position opportunities such as mentoring, teaching, and tutoring
  • Growth Opportunities – Allow your practice to evolve in a community setting as you reach more clients, expand your clinical skills, and gain experience teaching workshops to your fellow practitioners and our sister student community at Sevanti Institute.

  • Cross Referrals – Receive and send referrals from practice members across all disciplines at SWC. Highlight your practice specialty topics, and others will refer clients to you.

Practice Membership Fees

Practice Membership Fee: $200 per month

At SWC, we want you to keep your hard-earned revenue. To join our practice team, we require all practitioners to pay a flat monthly Practice Membership Fee of $200. Practicing counselors will retain 100% of their client booking fees minus only the merchant transaction costs (3.5% per transaction). By contrast, most wellness centers will charge you a percentage of your client fees. Some as high as 60%. We want you to feel the abundance of doing what you love.

Our costs are lower than traditional wellness clinics because we are virtual and don’t have a brick-and-mortar building. That said, there are costs to maintaining the practice of our counselors. The Practice Membership Fee will cover the administrative and technical costs required to keep you on board. That is just a fraction of the hard costs of renting a physical room at a physical wellness center, which can run as high as $1500 monthly for a full-time practice space.

Qualifications

Applicants to the SWC Team Practice must meet the following qualifications to be accepted into our practice. We are looking for ambitious and social practitioners willing to grow their practice within our group. We do not expect you to be wise sages or have full-time practices. Those gifts will come with persistent effort and time. Rather, we expect you to be present, support your clients with heart and soul, be open to learning, and do your best to communicate if you need help.
